Will Margaret Thatcher apologise for funding the Paedophile Group PIE?

Paedophile Information Exchange: TAXPAYER'S cash 'handed to child-sex perverts' by Home Office officials between 1977 and 1980 under Labour and then Margaret Thatcher

Can we do a Jimmy Saville once again and sentence her "post mortem"?

A total of £70,000 is said to have been given to the Paedophile Information Exchange *between 1977 and 1980 under Labour and then Margaret Thatcher’s first Tory government.

    ------

Another PIE member was Soviet spy Geoffrey Prime.
But even after he was jailed in 1982 for sex attacks on three young girls, Margaret Thatcher stood up in the Commons and denied he had any link to PIE.

<Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks!

I would be surprised if she was fully aware of what was going on, she always struck me as someone with a very strong moral compass which I doubt pointed towards perverts (but you never know). If she was implicated then why not, guilty is guilty.

lets hope this is the long awaited clear out post Saville, it seems that the paedophiles have been in power for years.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

The whole NCCL thing isn't even new, it was first covered about five years ago, so it coming up now is possibly revenge for the McAlpine story of a few months ago. It was inevitable that there would be then be a counter-attack on to the Conservatives at some point.

It's a bit of a weak one though. Some civil servant vaguely remembers funding that ever so conveniently carried on just into 1980. Not until, say, May 1979 when the Conservatives came to power but definitely maybe until 1980 just to get them involved.

Bit weak. Labour used to be so good at smears back in the McBride and Watson double-act days.
