Free and fair elections - Putin style

BBC News - Crimeans urged to vote against "neo-Nazis" in Kiev

Some very dodgy tulip going on there, especially as they will be voting for or against a government that won't be elected until after the referendum.

While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

It's ironic to see neo-nazi calling opponents "neo-nazies".

Even Merkel has shifted gears on this BS.

I am surprised to see the Ukrainians doing so little about it themselves. Perhaps they think Crimea is a reasonable price to pay. More likely they are tulip scared of a fight now they've realised the cavalry aren't going to come.

Russian Army masses troops and missile launchers on Ukraine border | Mail Online

A senior security chief in Kiev said Moscow could launch a full-scale invasion and Russian troops would be in the Ukrainian capital within ‘two or three hours’ of the order to advance.
That should make it a fair ballot then
Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

Ukranians were asked not to shoot to avoid giving Putin extra reasons to keep troops, something that happened in Georgia where he provoked attack and then responded in force.

Putin also keeps large army group near borders of mainland Ukraine - he just needs an excuse to occupy other parts of Ukraine.

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Yes but they seem to be making no attempt to fight a propaganda war of their own.

And what would you like them to do - surrender? They won't, and I am certain there will be guerilla war in Crimea if no solution found quickly.

Where do you get that idea?

Some attempts by the wider Ukraine to broadcast tv and radio to crimea might make sense.
