BBC News - Silverstone boss contacts Cameron over Circuit of Wales

Anyone who knows the area will know its a bit windswept up there. Seems to have its own micro-climate. i.e. pisses down and is freezing cold.

Not the best place in the world in the winter.

        Agreed.

They've started dcking about with the airport too. Not a passenger in sight but there's major building work going on outside and in.

So the same as any government project in the world then
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

It's probably warmer than the existing track at Angelsey. Quite why anybody think Wales needs another racetrack is a mystery; if they were going to poor public money into anywhere, they should help out Angelsey.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

They've loaned £10 million for refurbishment and allegedly passenger numbers are up 10% since they took over, as reported by the BBC

Bit of a trek Anglesey. MUCH quicker to get to Silverstone from, say, Cardiff than north wales.

Drive from South to North Wales is not great due to road quality. Looking at probably 4.5 hours to Anglesey?
