Maximising business opportunities or quality of life?

    Hi.

With my current clients life is good at least in the short terms - rates are not spectacular but much better than permie.
I am passing a lot of offers as I can't do too many things at a time.
I've recently scaled up a bit, subcontracting work to 5 other people - this was a huge burden and net effect was barely better than me doing things so after the project ended I scaled back to being little.
What are collective thoughts - should I try to maximise opportunities and scale my company startup style or keep it low and enjoy life, like 37signals / basecamp?

    How old are you?
How many of your houses are in London?
How many of your cars are classics or collectables?
Have you had your fill of escorts/lapdancers and champagne yet?

I think you can get your answer for the responses to the questions above.

I know it's General, but that is unnecessarily aggressive IMO.

In some clubs he goes to, it's best for him to ask first before buying them a drink.
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

I hope you're not calling him a paedo.

That costs once the dopamine kicks in. From 2011 ..

"My Family star Robert Lindsay racked up a £1,600 bill at a lapdancing club on a ‘lads’ night out’.

Lindsay, 61, who is married to TV presenter and actress Rosemarie Ford, was presented with the large bill at the end of an evening at London’s Spearmint Rhino.

To be fair that's probably a fairly mundane bill for TV types at Spearmint. Also depends on how many 'lads'. 8 lads makes it £200 a person.

I think he means the other end of the age spectrum. Grab a granny night at the Ritz in Manchester. No point wasting a drink on someone that won't make it through the night.
