    Tax breaks for ordinary commuting

    So says Boris:
Boris Johnson calls for tax breaks of commuters' season tickets | Mail Online

Didn't the Office of Tax Simplification consider the idea of making commuting travel tax deductible in their recent report on travel expenses and decide it wasn't feasible?

    Can't see it happening personally.

    Report:

Starts page 62. Seems they ruled it out entirely.

Sounds far too sensible, must be an April Fool
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

It's crazy that travel to work isn't tax deductable or at least can't be paid by company that hires person without any tax implications.
