BBC News - IMF: UK economic growth to reach 2.9% in 2014

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) says the UK economy will be the fastest-growing in the G7 this year.

It says the UK will grow 2.9% in 2014, up from a January estimate of 2.4%, and will see growth of 2.5% in 2015.

This would never have happened under new Liebour.

Growth is growth, and better than the alternative.

It includes UK manufacturing output, which on its own would only be 0.2% below the total figure for all growth in the Euro area.

And there is the problem, lower growth in the Euro area is affecting UK exports.

Why are folks economies like Germany that don't chase 3% growth figures enjoying a better standard of living, better wages for skilled professions, just better?
