      Yes, that damned land-bridge between europe and britain thousands of years ago allowing those pesky humans from east africa to come here.

            I would gladly keep Japanese Knotweed if we could get rid of brambles! That native species makes so many country areas almost impenetrable.

            PS Although the blackberries are quite eaty.
