    Addicted to Amazon

I was wondering if anybody else shares my addiction for Amazon? I paid £40 for Amazon Prime last year and have had LoveFilm free for the last few months. I have had amazing value in return doing a lot of my shopping online with everything arriving the next day. I even have a nappy subscription setup and it is a lot cheaper than the supermarkets. I must have bought over 200 items from Amazon over the last year.

Excellent service and easy to return stuff too......

    Love Amazon

I wouldn't say addicted but it is our automatic go-to site anytime we want just about anything. Even stuff you'd typically buy in B&Q or specialist online stores like whisky, etc.

Bought a load of garden tools from Amazon yesterday, cheaper than B&Q and delivered next day. Easy.

Yeah, Prime delivery is something you get used to far too easily... makes every other site look bad. Filtering search results to only show Prime-eligible, etc.

I can see this having a big impact on the super market and high street stores. It still has huge scope for growth and it's going to eat into the profits of all these other businesses....

          Still love it though.

I'm too tight-fisted to pay for Prime, I just go for the free delivery option everytime.
                I have Netflix for VOD.

I have prime, it's good as I buy a lot of books, used to buy CDs and kindle stuff too. I have lovefilm by post as well, I like physical disks. I get other odd things there as well like medical supplies and bits for the house. Often they are the only site selling a particular product I want.

I do tend to look at specialist suppliers for a lot of stuff though. I generally wouldn't buy a high end camera or lens from amazon for example, or music equipment (although I mostly buy stuff like that second hand these days)
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

                    Yes

Looking at my 'Amazon' mail folder, 1500 emails, probably 1200 are orders (I usually delete the others) in the last nine years makes 133 orders per year, more than 2 per week on average.

                    Ooops

Mind you, I have a nice DVD collection!
