    bring back the rope

BBC News - Oklahoma inmate dies after 'botched' lethal injection

Can't they learn from the British and bring back the rope?

Not that I think its a suitable punishment for Max Clifford - he should be made to pongo-stick over the M25 at rush hour.

I like the bit about European drug firms cutting off the supply. Surely they have plenty of local ones that are tried and tested.

I think there was one european supplier of the drugs. I will need to google the actual news reports from last year but from memory it was someone in a Semi in Wembley...

There's a minor constitutional objection to changing to a cruel and unusual punishment, however.

In the rush hour? He'd probably be as safe as if he was tucked up in bed at home, as the traffic is probably doing only about 2 MPH or stationary

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Nah, far too simple - The Yanks love their ridiculous gadgets, even if their baroque over-elaborate execution methods make them a laughing stock.
