Where's "anything Micro$oft"? That always needs fixing...
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

As much as I would like to pick a technological option from the list...
Most of them can be outsourced to cut-price, bodyshop in the back-end of beyond.

I would go for pretty much anything non-technical that can "facilitate business process change and/or change management" or generate vast volumes of wasted paper...

Not the most interesting or artistic work, but it does seem to pay well.

What about Oil & Gas Exploration & Military Hardware? Seem fairly lucrative at the mo.

I would guess there's more .Net contracts and will be for a time to come, also once you have 3 years experience, and are good then you should be set until the next bust.

            Yup...
All need change mis-managers and paper generators.

True, but it is still a technology that can be offshored.
I would have thought it would be better to aim for a higher, soft-skill target.

Something that requires a degree of business knowledge and aptitude.

                  Agreed...
EUSD was good, but this could be better.

Boring as f', but it's all money at the end of the day.
