While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I have a Weber book with a few in.

Personally I like to go to the local Lebanese kebab shop and get a big bag of their kofte mince and make it into patties. I also make middle eastern style chicken, fish or prawn (if I'm being flash) kebabs marinaded in lemon, black pepper, cumin and coriander, and lamb chops or steaks in a baharat marinade. Nice with a shiraz salad.

I do like a bit of fish on there as well but I tend to keep it fairly plain, or if it's a whole one stuff it with lemon slices, shallots, coriander or whatever takes my fancy.

My localish proper butcher has a fantastic selection of prepared stuff though, I will probably pop up there on Monday if the weather holds.

I'll get you a present. I will read your drivel for once.

Have you started your "happy birthday" thread yet?

Is it not bad form to start your own?

                Thanks for asking.

I'm off to London tonight for an evening in the Electric Ballroom, and no doubt recovering for most of Saturday. Maybe off to the gym if I'm home in time.

Sunday I'm going paddle boarding if it's nice, and then relaxing in the sunshine. Hopefully

Nothing definite planned yet, although gardening will probably feature.
