The female body is not purely sexual????

Why I posed naked and natural | Victoria Bateman | Comment is free | theguardian.com

"In modern society a naked woman is associated with one thing alone: sex."

To be fair, I suppose the female body is good for cleaning behind the fridge.

She's 34? Looks double that in the portrait and the picture of her stood in front of it. Need to get a razor to that as well....

Both male and female artists have been challenging the tradition of the female nude for centuries.

Titian's Olympia was controversial at the time because the nude was looking at the viewer. Up to then the viewer's position was voyeuristic.

(Possibly NSFW, but it is art...)

I was tempted to "do" her for my final OU essay, but settled for a bit of Africa in the end.

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Not a great review. Any art review with the word juxtaposition is clearly nonsense.
