can sort of see their point but after years of making good money then they probably need to adapt.

It was inevitable that mini cabs would find a way to upset their monopoly.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

So Black Cab uber alles no more
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

It was quite funny the Daily Mail report yesterday when they showed Berlin and stating that streets were thronging with taxis yet all the photos showed the taxis parked up in front of the Olympiastadion which is in fact a giant carpark. In fact they didn't block any streets like in London but drove in a convoy around Berlin and then parked up there, jolly good reporting there...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

This cabbie says the protest was about TfL, not Uber, but the journalists decided they wanted to play the Uber angle and so didn't report anything else: Totally Failing London | the cabbies capital

What about an anti anti-uber protest where everyone wheelclamps black cabs for a day and spray paints them with Uber logos
