    Any snooker players?

I've finally got into it and joined my local club after years of meaning to. Man, it's difficult!

Anyone else play or used to, and cares to admit their average/best breaks? Being a nerd, I was wondering whether there are any good apps to help practice - recommendations?

I am better at Pool than snooker. Think my best break is around 35.

I have been meaning to join the local one for a while, used to be a member of one a few years ago as it was a great day time hang out when benched, hire a table for a few hours so you could chase balls around, drink a few pints then feel like Dracula when you stepped outside into the sun.

Only ever played when pi**ed so highest break must have been somewhere around 147

Watch videos on youtube of cueing action and how to bend over properly and stuff like that.

Made 49 break once, very annoyed not to get to 50......

Actually, way back when, I worked in a snooker club. Great job, as a young lad, worked 3x 13hr shifts per week and had 4 days off, and although that sounds like a long day, the place was pretty quiet in office hours. Plenty of pool playing ensued......
