Bondage in the Thai Prawn Industry

    Hmmm...interesting

Last time I bought prawns I was shocked to discover they were from Bangladesh. Knowing the feeding habits of the average crustacean and knowing the levels of pollution in that neck of the woods I decided never again.

So, should we be boycotting Thai tiger prawns?

Saw the article and tried to copmpose a fun thread title involving DimPrawn - but failed.

Maybe DP should get bondage gear for his gf's birthday?

I thought perhaps a District 9 reboot had moved to Thailand
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

It has the makings of a rollercoaster. As long as it has a happy ending - with the prawn voting UKIP.

The closest land relative to a prawn is the cockroach.
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Not sure why anyone was shocked, I and a number of others suggested using trade agreements to push employment welfare standards with the side effect of lessening the landslide of Globalisation and I was accused of protectionism.

We need to make it clear the UK doesn't buy goods made by abused labour.

Same can be said of polluters, we insulate our keyholes while India & China build filthy power stations & factories.

This sounds like a good policy. We can ban all imports from the East and start to make stuff again.

I watched Blomkamp's recent one last night, Elysium, thought that was very good as well.

                    Err...carry on.
