    A record-breaking rise in employment was announced today - 345,000. This means the total number of people in jobs is over 30.5 million.

      This wouldn't have happened under Labour (unless the jobs were in the civil service or quangos).

            Probably due to all those Brits trying to get passports so they can get to Europe before the UK leaves the EU when it might be more difficult

              That figure will probably change soon though due to the expected cuts in public services although hopefully these people will find jobs in the private sector which shouldn't affect the figures too much:
