Sacrilege
Do you think people who pack the confectionary into boxes at fudge making factories tell people what they do for a living? -
What are they going to do with Gibson's dog. Not a very PC name in today's world, despite it being historic fact.Illegitimus non carborundum est! -

On that basis, they'll be using B52s instead of Lancaster bombers, with Barnes-Wallace getting his idea for the bouncing bomb whilst working on his Ohio farm.
Why can't the leave well alone and concentrate on films that were poor the first time around. Like Bugsy Malone...too many kids in the film...Illegitimus non carborundum est!Comment

Aye, but from the Beeb article:
"He came back and said that [film company] Icon had the rights and that Mel Gibson was going to direct and possibly act in it," Jackson said.
"Obviously that didn't happen."
Thank gawd it didn't happen!Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment

So presumably it will be from the perspective of all those poor germans when the nasty Brits came along and flooded their houses.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

mel gibson. The very words make me sigh.
He would use it as an opportunity to portray himself as the only caring SS man in the world, who fights to save Jewish children (in a desperate attempt to rebuild his 'image'), and shouting about freedom.
Oh, and the English would have started the war and the Germans would have simply been trying to protect Europe from British aristocrats who like to impale hamsters with their sabres.
But, the Americans would be trying to teach us how to be civilised (wouldn't want to turn off his revenue stream), and would somehow convince the depraved, hunchbacked Barnes Wallis to design a bomb that only causes the evil SS people to be drowned, while all the other stereotypes survive and are sheparded to safety by saint mel.
And it would feature lots of Scottish people telling the English they were wrong.
He sickens me.Vieze Oude ManComment

Its going to be a typical american re-write of history (reference "Enigma", "saving private ryan" and "U-571" that came out a few years back).
America saves the day...
