When are the UK IT contracting hiring cycles?

    Hi all,

Apologies if this is already on here, I searched but to no avail:-(

I am interested to know when are the typical hiring peaks and troughs for the UK/London. I know it picks up around mid-March and slumps around mid-July to end August. I am assuming that mid-Sept to October is a rise again?

Does anyone have any "hard" data please?

    Thanks in advance

Am I the only one that was thinking this was about a bicycle hire scheme a la "Boris Bikes"?
I'd give my right dick to be normal.....

        ...

I think the peaks are somewhere around the high points but that doesn't account for lag; climate or network latency of course.

You can buy your bike through the cycle to work scheme. No need to hire.

Technically you are not buying your bike. You are buying someone else's that then becomes yours once the trade is complete surely

            I will get ready to

Thanks all, but it's not really what I am looking for. Does anyone know if there is a rise in available IT contracts end-Sept/begin-Oct? Unless you have something on topic, feel free not to respond

Who cares? Never affects a decent contractor.

You may not have noticed but you took a wrong turn

People will keep on topic if you post in a more appropriate forum

Real contractors drive, they don't use clown bikes
