Default People of Bruges have eternal right to fish in British waters

A document signed by Charles II has surfaced which grants the people of Bruges the eternal right to fish in British waters
    https://twitter.com/GeertBourgeois/s...privilege.html

It was tested in UK courts in the 1960's but no final verdict was made as it has to go to the house of lords which it didn't at the time

I don't get it though, they didnt seem to have rights in our waters before we joined the EU, so not sure how they think they have rights now - talking about Denmark.
