The Beeb's take on it. Surprised no one of the usual DM reporting team have posted a link to it as it's big news about how bad TM is doing and how strong BoJo is.

He's distancing himself from it, so that he can say to all the believers that if he had been in charge, he would have given £350million a week to the NHS, he would have given us better trade deals, he would have made Britain great again, he would have reduced VAT on household fuel,
...all the things he promised but knew he could never deliver, and if he does his twisting right, he'll blame the EU for it as well.

And all his believers on here and elsewhere will lap it up.

He’s always known that Brexit would be a cluster**** but he thought that being on the other side would advance his popularity as a “man of the people” and get him into Number 10. Remember that he’s an ex-journo, he’s written columns supporting both sides to say whatever he needs to say to advance his career.

            And the there’s this:

He is a blithering idiot, but also malign and opportunistic. God help us if that thundercnut gets into power. That’s a more worrying proposition than JC.

Edit: of course he’s already in power and look how that’s panned out. I mean PM.

This is exactly my take on him. I don't believe the commonly-believed narrative that he hides his high IQ under bluster.
                Hard Brexit now!
