"Brexit and slumping sales of diesel-powered cars. Staff are expected to work reduced hours until at least Christmas."

So is it Brexit or is it a slump in sales of diesel cars?

And why only till xmas - does brexit stop then or does everyone start buying diesel cars?

Holding pattern for Brexit news and because laying off the workforce prior to xmas is not a nice thing to do and they would get hammered in the papers.

It's *until at least Xmas*, could well go on after that. Thjats the shortest possible time it could run. If the news in November about a Brexit deal is good then they can reconsider.

There seem to be a lot of Tory MPs from the correct backgrounds (public school and/or Oxbridge) whose pukka accent and ever-so-correct dress sense hide a profound mediocrity.
              Hard Brexit now!

                What a bunch of idiots.

Blue passports soon enough, all will be good. Well sort of. We'll get by. Maybe. We've had tougher days. The nights are getting long, cold, & dark. It's their fault. etc etc...

Thelma and Louise should have driven a Jaguar off the cliff because that's what this country is now embarking on.

Why does it have to be either/or? There are likely other factors like slump in quality etc. but they are mostly internal and you won't hear the CEO quoting them.

Brexit caused Jaguar sales to slump in 2015 as well:
