What she might have done however is accept that it was not "hate" that won but Democracy.
And she might also have taken some time to reflect how lucky she actually was.
Fortunate to have been living in a land where she had the opportunity and privilege to cast her vote in whatever direction she felt appropriate.
That might have been a more realistic response.
