Predictions for companies going bust in the event of bad brexit and who will do well?

    Anyone?

Retailers will be under pressure obviously if there is a massive fall in consumer confidence but many people might actually feel more confident if there is a hard brexit as we will have to just get on with it...

I believe Somerset Capital Management will do quite well. I was reading recently that they had set aside £7m for one of their shareholders because of Brexit.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Brexit has already f***ed up retail. Take a walk down the High Street and see the closed down shops to let.

The damage has already been done, it just remains how worse will it get

Any businesses that buy/sell to EU will do badly.
Anyone shorting the pound will do well.

Didn't one of the characters in the Big Short comment that they'd be shorting the US economy?

Retail basically got ****ed by the fall in value of the £. Very little is made here.

              C'mon fella keep it real.

Internet shopping, high rent, expensive town parking and vast out of town outlet malls with free parking has been killing off the high street for years before Brexit came along.

But all of those are the fault of the EU, so once we have left then we can go back to our old ways.

Well, if they are bad things in England, then the EU must be blamed for them. Isn't that the way your story goes?

Everything bad/wrong in England is the fault of the EU.
Everything good/right in England is in spite of the EU.

                    Rinse & repeat.
