I think this is true, but they've played it very cool the other way, and our spineless politicians haven't got the balls to test it.

Hello UK, welcome to Scotland's world...

Brexiteers make the case for Scottish independence every time they speak.

It's such a pity that the majority of Scots didn't vote to leave the United Kingdom, isn't it?

Now, be a good boy and change the record.

They voted that way in 2014 because they were told we would have to leave the EU if we got independence.

Turns out now that we are being dragged out against our will anyway. The EU have said we would be welcomed back in and fast tracked after Brexit.

The result of the Indyref2 will be different, which will be very soon.

Has anyone noticed that Brexiteers now quote from the Remain campaign leaflet to demonstrate that they knew what they were voting for as it accurately predicted exactly the situation we now find ourselves in.

The only flaw in this argument is that the Leave campaign said it was a bunch of lies.

              I'm alright Jack

Where did they say this then?

Fifty European politicians have said Scotland would be “most welcome” to rejoin the European Union as a full member if it voted for independence.

The group of mainly Green party politicians said they would help ensure any transition to full membership was “as swift, smooth and orderly as possible”.

The letter to Holyrood was signed by 26 MEPs as well as members of national and regional parliaments in Germany, Ireland, Greece, Spain and Belgium.

They said: “The question of Scotland’s constitutional future, and your relationships with the UK and the EU, are for the people of Scotland to decide. It is not our place to tell Scotland what path you should take. If Scotland were to become an independent country and decided to seek to maintain EU membership, we offer our full support to ensure the transition is as swift, smooth and orderly as possible.

“Scotland would be most welcome as a full member of the EU, with your 5 million European citizens continuing to benefit from the rights and protections we all currently enjoy.”

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Spain would have no objection to Scotland rejoining the European Union as an independent nation, as long as the secession process from the United Kingdom was legally binding, Spanish foreign minister Josep Borrell said on Tuesday.

A key European Union figure has claimed it is a ‘simple fact’ there is no big obstacle to an independent Scotland rejoining the bloc after the UK’s departure. Guy Verhofstadt, who is the European Parliament’s chief negotiator on Brexit, was appearing before the Home Affairs committee in the House of Commons this afternoon when he was challenged by Scottish Conservative MP Douglas Ross on comments he had made on an independent Scotland joining the EU.

In that case, it is the responsibility of every red blooded Englishman to really **** up Scotland's quest for independence - just to make sure
