Farage needs to decide whether the £450,000 payment from Aaron Banks is a a personal gift; in which case he needs to declare it for tax. Or is it a political donation to the Brexit Part in which case he needs to declare it as such. Either way, Farage has broken the law.

Martin McGuinness police file was 'not blocked to save peace' - BelfastTelegraph.co.uk

The prosecution service confirmed that it had received a police file.It said it reviewed the material and advised the police in March 1995 that there was not enough evidence to prosecute him.
That file is strongly believed to relate to Frank Hegarty, an alleged IRA informer who was executed by the IRA in 1986 after Mr McGuinness allegedly reassured his family that he would not be hurt if he returned.
It also included evidence that Mr McGuinness was involved in several other murders, and evidence of IRA membership.

Not tax on gifts in the UK, and no need to declare by Farage...

Politicians should be banned from receiving any gifts above trivial value, it should be treated as illegal campaign financing or worse

For libel to be effective there ought to be damage caused to the person who got libeled.

In fairness to vetran Mr McGuinness probably won't suffer any damage from his allegations, just like Farage won't suffer from my opinion that he is a political fraud.

It's another matter that vetran is being hypocritical tulip, but that's par for the course for people who support scum like Farage

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Martin McGuinness’s criminal convictions revealed - Belfast Newsletter

He was convicted of IRA membership on January 29, 1973 in Dublin Criminal Court and spent six months in jail.• At Dublin’s Central Criminal Court on February 27, 1974 he was imprisoned for 12 months, and got a three-month jail term for withholding information about acts of terror.
                  • In Londonderry Magistrates’ Court on March 21, 1985, he was charged with assaulting police the previous October, and fined £25. He was also fined a combined total of £65 for two counts of obstructing police. According to the currency calculator www.thisismonth.co.uk, this combined fine of £90 would be equivalent to £266 today.

Gerry Adams is a bit more slippery but he was seriously accused of Jean McConville's murder. He also had some very unpleasant friends.

Adams was active in rioting at this time and later became involved in the republican movement. In August 1971, internment was reintroduced to Northern Ireland under the Special Powers Act 1922. Adams was interned in March 1972, on HMS Maidstone, but on the Provisional IRA's insistence was released in June to take part in secret, but abortive talks in London.[19] The IRA negotiated a short-lived truce with the British government and an IRA delegation met with British Home Secretary William Whitelaw at Cheyne Walk in Chelsea. The delegation included Adams, Martin McGuinness, Sean Mac Stiofain (IRA Chief of Staff), Daithi O'Conaill, Seamus Twomey,
