It's fair to say that the electorate was asked to give advice in an advisory referendum and gave bad advice (to be fair, it was a poorly framed question). So we should certainly respect that the electorate did their best, and then Parliament's job is decide what to do within the context of that advice.

Did you mention this at the time of the referendum or did you just whinge like a bitch when you lost?

Also, when you voted, did you understand that the Government of the time had promised to implement the result?

Does leaving with a deal still honour the result of the referendum?
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

If I had a penny for each time a Government had broken it's promise...

FTFY. Not what was promised but what the "people" deserve.
            Hard Brexit now!

The key part is: ' the Government of the time'... Since then we had one GE and 2 different PMs, so do you consider it is still the same government!?

If we get a new GE (again) and elect a new government, then you will accept if the new government will ignore promises made by a different government!?

You are triggered today. Maybe have a little lie down before you burst a blood vessel.

You always wheel that chestnut out when you haven't got an answer. Not triggered, just wondering what it was about the EU referendum that you didn't understand?

You are the most triggered poster on CUK. You're now meta-triggered.

I understand that the referendum was advisory. You appear not to. Either that or you're triggered by that fact and in angry denial.
