The judge has ruled that the prosecution will proceed and the case will be sent to the crown court. Misconduct in public office carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

The spectacle of a serving PM in the dock at the crown court looms large.

    I'm alright Jack

It would be a fitting end indeed to the whole Brexit saga, if Boris were to be put in the slammer before he could push through Brexit.

Tell you what, why don't you bring a private prosecution against him? You could try crowdfunding it. Or are you just an armchair warrior?

Raise the cash and start a private prosecution. Or stop your impotent snowflake whining.

Well MPs do get sent to prison for lying, admittedly slightly different to misrepresentation: Fiona Onasanya: Peterborough MP to face solicitor tribunal - BBC News

The maximum sentence for Boris's little bit of lying is life, shame it's not the minimum....
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Is it safe yet to say that Boris is a fooking dirty liar or is that libel?

It's an established truth. Google Boris Johnson prawn cocktail crisps.
