Major car dealership Lookers blames Brexit for profit warning

"Shares in Lookers, one of Britain’s biggest car dealerships, have tumbled another 30% after the firm issued a profits warning, blaming increasingly challenging trading conditions.

It warned on Friday that weaker margins will push first-half profits down by 25%, to about £32m, and full-year figures will also fall below forecasts, as customer confidence is hit by continuing political and economic uncertainty. "

So some crappy dealers that can't shift diesel cars due to EU emissions regulations blames Brexit (which hasn't happened yet) and this is reported in the Guardian.

You really need to get out more...

Ok maybe the lookers plc website
The continuing political uncertainty resulting from the Brexit situation
and the negative impact this has had on both consumer and business confidence, has also adversely affected the
        demand for new cars.
The current political environment, Brexit and weaker exchange rates create a degree of uncertainty in the UK economy,
        which is unhelpful.
