GBP - How low will it go?

With CUKers being my go to experts for all matters financial, I am wondering what you all think about the noise in the financial papers about GBP reaching parity with the USD?

Parity with the EUR I expect and had budgeted for but with the USD? My UK clients still want to pay with Britcoins. It has me worried. Feels like Scooter is in charge of my balance sheet.

On a related note, how are you all looking forward to your holidays in Iceland. Turkey and South Africa?

I can tell you exchange rate of EPS (English Pound Sterling) to EUR on rejoining EU: roughly it will be 1000000 EPS for 1 EUR.

    Be afraid.

    Be very afraid.

Iceland? Far too expensive with the current strength of the pound.

Interestingly the pound is up 12% against the Krona YOY. I had imagined all UK CUKers would be out there tenting with the local Bitcoin miners.

It's summer. Who the hell would want to visit Iceland?

Even the cut price supermarkets will only be taking hard currency. Sterling customers will have to queue at Jacob's Uplifting Food Outlets.

You've got until October at best I reckon. Once Boris erects the parliament now 'closed' sign the pound will almost certainly tank.

Protect your wealth. Huv been banging on about doing so for a couple of year now. The 11th hour is near.

It might be sooner. The HoL vote today hasn't helped much. The HoC vote tomorrow shall be interesting.

I have been buying JYP, CHF & USD today. EUR is not looking clever. At this point BCD looks safer than GBP. Irony is 90% of my GBP is coming from a ******* German company in Farnborough.
