"May" had very little to do with it, the Treaty is basically Barnier's wish-list, all she did was sign it off.

I wonder how popular Boris will be if he gets a deal through.

A freaky scary comment made on the beeb:

On 23 March 1933, Adolf Hitler and his National Socialist Party orchestrated passing the Enabling Act of 1933 that gave the German Cabinet - in effect, Chancellor Adolf Hitler - the power to enact laws without the involvement of the Reichstag. With no need for parliamentary approval, this rendered the German parliament itself impotent

Boris, far from emulating Churchill, is becoming a dictator

Boris is simply trying to support the will of the people as voted for in a binding referendum which parliament promised to enact but now we have anti democratic members of the house trying every trick possible to defeat the binding will of the people so a little muzzling is in order. The prorogation is simply to give the government time to introduce its new agenda by means of a Queens speech, nothing new in that. I'm surprised the BBC see any parallels with Germany 1933 unless its the Corbyn idea of political management they're getting at?

He's in Germany and someone mentioned Hitler (thus invoking Godwin's Law). He needs a clean pair of brown trousers...

                How exciting!

I thought MPs had made this option far more difficult a little while back? If so, what did they do and how did the government get around that?

                    Corbyn? Fingers crossed.
