Nice trolling there. You've lost another argument, so you move the goalposts.
Tell me exactly where I said that I denied that any individuals in the RoI received EU grants?
Perhaps you'd care to name the multitude of individuals you know of that definitely "received generous EU grants to build new properties and renovate old ones" and perhaps you'd like to talk about the funding the EU generously poured into Wales, one of the lowest tax contributor areas of the UK.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Yes, it keeps the UK in the EU, perhaps temporarily, but it denies Jeremy a GE."The boy who cried Sheep"Comment

Yes, Wales itself was a major recipient of EU funds, but those funds didn't go directly to individuals. Which I believe is part of the reason why Wales as a whole voted to leave the EU and the citizens of the ROI would have voted the opposite way if they'd had a chance. Wasn't there a vote in recent times which went against EU aspirations and when the benefits were upped, the ROI citizens then voted to accept what was on offer?
Wales is one of the lowest tax contributors because we are amongst the lowest paid in the UK. So you can't use that argument.Last edited by JohntheBike; 5 September 2019, 13:06.Comment
