    Will they be "white"?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

To be fair they (EU) don't seem to have been especially constructive over the past couple of years

They’ve been constructive with countries that know what they want and want a deal - Japan, Mercasur, etc.

There ain’t no dealin’ wit crazy.

                That cuts both ways

The EU also need it to be seen that leaving is not a walk in the park, pour discourager les autres. If it's so easy to leave the whole project will fall apart quicker than it would otherwise.

But it is easy to leave. The U.K. handed in its A50 notice, and is free to walk at any time.

Other countries don’t have the NI issue to worry about, so in theory it should be even easier for them.

The fly in your ointment is that other countries see the downsides of the EU but also consider that the upsides outweigh them. It’s an inconvenient fact, but a fact nonetheless.

The only reason we haven't already left is because Parliament, including the ERG and DUP, consistently voted against May's deal. If they had supported it we would have been out by now. Not the EU's fault.
