How will history remember these last few weeks

“A few privileged millionaire white guys destroyed the UK and made more money for themselves in the process”

    Should sum it up nicely

        Or perhaps not.

Chris Giles on Twitter: "Did not expect this at all

In IFS pre-Budget analysis with investment bank Citi...

Corbyn-led labour government (ditch brexit) leaves Britain 5% better off than Johnson-led Conservative Govt (no deal) by 2022

        5% = GBP110bn a year

Perhaps more indigenous Brits could take up those qualities, rather than being, at the top, useless rentier hedge fund millionaires betting against Britain or at the bottom, poorly educated, lazy wastrels.
            Hard Brexit now!

Sorry but that article is just biased speculation.

                absolutely!

a spell working directly for the Japanese might also prove to be a sobering lesson.

A well-argued rebuttal. Makes sense, especially as the FT is well known as a Corbyn-sympathising paper.

If you read the article it does not take into account Corbyn making any changes to the economy and makes assumptions based on what could be the outcome of a no deal brexit.

Not saying it is not an interesting read but there is too much speculation in there (obviously as they are trying to predict the future) for it to be anything other than a persons viewpoint on what could happen given the knowledge we have now.
