So you chose to be triggered. Fair enough, your choice. Hope it makes you feel better

In this instance though I was genuinely not trying to pass judgement. I really am trying to understand what happened, or didn't, to those who served that they have this dislike of the EU.

I'll pass judgement on you though fella ... you're a prime prick. There you go .... deal with that as you so choose
Is it the health problems that your wife has suffered that's made you such a bitter prick? Some sort of deep down sense of inadequacy? I hope you've got a friend to talk to because otherwise it's only going to get worse.

Now before you start ranting and raving, just sit and have a think. You've posted about your wife's problems on here more than once so as far as I'm concerned it's fair game to ask you the question publicly.

If you weren't such a twat I'd have sent you a PM.

No, it's a fair question but on the contrary I'm not bitter in the slightest. My wife's illness, and the reality that life really is short and should be enjoyed to the max. No need to get bitter or triggered by situations that you can't control, that's just wasted energy.

As for you thinking I'm a prick, that's totally your choice to have that view. Just remember that your view is only important to you and means nothing to me, or I presume anyone else. You are welcome to think whatever you like of me - fill your boots fella

I don't have a deep down sense of inadequacy, but like everyone, there are clearly areas that I am inadequate. i'm useless at DIY. I'm not great at heights and and I swim like a brick. But hey, I can't be perfect at everything and none of these things bother me in the slightest.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like publicly; much better to get it in the open rather than hiding behind PMs

              Do you feel better now

                No, you don't sound triggered

Take a chill pill fella, just because I think you're a twunt should mean nothing to you unless you want it to. Sounds like you need to learn how to ignore what others think of you else you're going to go through life in a right state.
