This is exactly why Brexit should have been done at the end of March. The uncdertainty is killing the Uk. The sooner Brexit gets done, the better.
Killed. A&E declared this patient DoA long while back.

Not quite, maybe you should read and digest the articles properly. I was on a Works Council here and know exactly how they work. Try reading the Arbeitsgesetz and Mitbestimmungsgestz and then you'll have a better understanding of what you're trying to talk about...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Want to process your German employees data in the USA... council says no.
Want to change the working week or hours of your employees... council says no.
Want to bring in cost cutting measures...council says no.

In the USA they are used to free reign, hire and fire at will....Musk will tulip his pants just before the whole company goes bankrupt.

And despite all of that Germany is still the strongest and biggest economy in the EU with the highest quality products. If it was such a problem no US (or othe non German) company would move into Germany and still they do.

BMW and Mercedes Benz really suffer from their works councils; they'll be out of business soon.

Or you could choose a country outside of the EU, that is an overcrowded island, with a terrible clogged road network, and fewer available workers due to record low unemployment rates.

Problem is, in the UK, who wants to make cars when you can make trillions through global banking and "tax" management services?

Plenty of American companies in Germany and they have no problems with the law. The above is just not true having been through all of these changes in companies. Unlike in the UK, people compromise (which is one of the biggest problems with the Brexit negotiations, the EU will compromise, the UK won't)

Did you steal that from Churchill circa 1940?
