Huge plant will be built in Germany
So much business is coming to the UK, Not

Mr Musk told AutoExpress that Britain was never in the running for a gigafactory, as it was considered “too risky” because of the uncertainty caused by Brexit.

Tesla’s not shelved, just not going to be built in the U.K.

Makes sense, there's more room in Germany for the car fires. Plus plenty of cheap labor in the former Eastern-bloc to be exploited.

So not because of too many pedos in the UK then?

This is exactly why Brexit should have been done at the end of March. The uncdertainty is killing the Uk. The sooner Brexit gets done, the better.

Made there, not necessarily sold there.

And average wages for car workers are higher in Germany.

But apart from that, you were spot on.

Unemployment at 3.9% and in the future it is going to be harder for multinationals to bring in cheap labour to fill these low skilled jobs.

    I'm not seeing the downside.

Then would definitely be out of option due to taxation when exporting to mainland Europe! What would be the point to make a factory on Europe in the only country that will have importing/exporting taxes to the EU?!

As the UK is the country with the most buyers. After any no-deal brexit, there will be huge tariffs on EU cars. So in the UK we will mostly buy Japanese and Tesla. No more Audi, BMW and Mercedes - which will improve driving standards enormously.

When the UK decides to reduce population to cope with climate change, guess which drivers will be "deprioritised" first?
