Yeah like the govt. are going to reverse that decision. They'll do what Trump orders them to.

And so it begins. Once the Yanks are finished with the UK in their post-Brexit "deal", it'll be a hollowed out husk.

Tesla plan for manufacturing plant in Germany

However there's no need to despair as Wetherspoons will be opening 5 new pubs.

Meanwhile? That article is over a month old. Having read the article it appears that the Sainted Elon Musk-rat doesn't think much of his German competitors...

Adding production in Germany and China will probably help Musk boost Tesla’s sales in those regions, according to Kevin Tynan, a Bloomberg Intelligence auto analyst. “The sustainability of the demand will be more the question,” he said. “And if local competition becomes real competition, it will be more difficult.”

In a way, Brexit will have the benefit of discouraging the riff-raff who voted leave from travelling to Europe. And if they do go they will be whinging about roaming charges for their phones and having to take out medical insurance for their day trips to France.

Except they probably won't need to worry about roaming charges.

Mobile roaming if there’s no Brexit deal - GOV.UK

And not really sure thing insurance for a day trip would be needed - and anyone staying longer will just take the usual insurance like they do now.

And finally - tourism from the Uk contributes to most of the EU countries economies - especially PIGS - so they EU would be mad to make it difficult for people to travel to the EU to spend money.

Also France is not doing as well as they would like right now.

And what are your "thoughts" about the thread topic? You're like a child blocking its ears to what it doesnt want to hear. I reckon Cobham is the first of many leading the UK to be a de facto 51st state, around the same size economically as California
                    Hard Brexit now!

Over time Cobham will be shifted over to the US, just like Laird.

But lets face it, should you care if you're retired.
