What proportion of UK spend is EU contributions?

No wonder you've been found out and become the mediocre permie you always were in reality.

It's a small percentage, but invested and compounded over time it's a lot of money.

Try this, put £35,000,000,000 a year into a a basket of investments, giving an average 5% return p.a., compounded for 30 years, and tell me how much that is at the the end....

It's more than £3trn pounds. Enough to pay all the UK debt and still have at least £1,000,000,000,000 left over....

You saying the UK has invested £1,050 billion in the EU over the last 30 years and not one penny of benefit to businesses and individuals?

Can you provide a source for that?

                Inneresting.

I ask you to provide a source for your claim, and you don't want to provide it.

What a coincidence. Thought I saw your name on a loaf of bread but it turned out it actually said "thick cut".
