    Default Should the UK still protect Europe?

    Now that we are finally leaving, should we continue to protect Europe?

    Should we use this as a bargaining chip to extort an even better deal from the bureaucrats in the EU?

    We're leaving the EU, not Europe.

    No. The Germans should meet their NATO commitment to spend 2% of GDP on defence.

    If they are still too squeamish to have an effective military force they should pay the UK the additional sums required.
