    Lies, damn lies and statistics.

I am pretty sure you could argue all points of view depending on what facts you want to present.

Huge my arse. £9bn/year is chicken feed. FFS, it's only 0.2% of Germany's GDP ($4tn).

Anyway, they could always do a "Boris" and borrow the money.
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

Imagine you have 100 apples and you give 3 to Eugene. You've still got 97 left for yourself.
Eugene then gives you 1.5 apples back.
You've got 98.5 apples out of your 100.

As a result of the 1.5 apples you have "given away", you get a nurse to help you in your hospital and people to pick the apples for you.

Now you decide you don't want to "give away" 1.5 apples, because you think 1.5 apples is what prevents you from being great.

If you're not great at 98.5% with help from others, you're not going to be great when you're all alone with your extra 1.5%.

            ...Poor John.
So we're in the tulip with a bigger budget and they're not with a smaller budget?

            You're a fcuking oddball.

Nope, did I say any of that?

We've ended up where we are over 1.5% of our budget, when viewed just from government spend, not from related income generated.

We are leaving the EU, we should be focusing on our country and trying to improve it, but no, that's the sensible thing to do, so is against the will of the wailers.

Imagine you have 350 million apples, you give them to Eugene for his apple collective along with all the other members of Eugene's Collective. Eugene then decides to give you 180 million apples for your needs and distributes the other 170 million apples to the other guys. Now, you decide to stop giving Eugene 350 million apples because you no longer wish to be a member of his collective, unfortunately Eugene still needs 170 million apples for the other members of the collective. Do you see Eugene's problem?
                Eugene has too much cider?
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

Oh so now you're saying that because of Brexit we can't talk about the situation in the rest of Europe? What a helmet.

Nope, I didn't say that either.
