    Unemployment in the UK

If unemployment levels are currently reaching an all time high, then why did a plane arrive at Stanstead today with 180 Romanians on it to pick fruit, and another 5 planes coming? What will happen next year after a 'no deal' Brexit and the points based immigration system comes into place?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

        Excellent....

Hundreds of Romanian fruit and veg pickers to be flown in as travel restrictions leave farms short of staff
        I'm alright Jack

Yet they're on the beeb complaining the loans are not forthcoming... unf£$ken believable.

Probably something to do with the lockdown.

Maybe its also cheaper to furlough the locals and fly in cheaper workers to do their jobs for them. Thanks uncle Rishi!

I'm sure this is a remainer plot, the Rumanians are all covid infected and will cough over the strawberries they pick, resulting in a full extermination of the Wetherspoon brigade. And Britain will return into the EU.

So if the point of leaving the EU was to get away from all those underpaid migrants.....

Yeah that's a good question, sure those migrants are not getting paid the Boris minimum for acceptable / allowable workers to gain entry (much like the nurses who treated him).. how was that overlooked?
                  :
What a £$@ farce. The Whateverspoon brigade will be preaching some new rhetoric once the Wail publishes their updated gospel.

Proof that there are people in the UK that will not pick fruit, unless they are down to their last pound. Plus UK people have benefits and furlough money.

Another benefit to being Romanian is the big difference in minimum wage, around £2.80
An hour over there. So they come here and triple their income.
