No deal is the easiest deal isn't it?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

No deal is still a type of a deal.

Therefore Boris did not lie when he lied that no deal won’t happen

Why would banks need to prepare for something when the cost to the country is 'vanishingly small' ?

Economy would be in trouble already. Friction with imports as people have to put new procedures in place, COVID is changing everything we do. Borders being erected around Europe.
You are right it is a lot easier now to push hard brexit.
Question is whether it would be better for the middle / working class. Do you believe the British establishment care about you as a person or fight for your rights?
They'll work you to death in the modern corporate gulag, with less freedoms - travel, work, social security, healthcare.
That is the no red tape, employment at will, version of corporate america that is expecting you.

You managed to answer an awful lot of questions I didn't ask. Are you a politician ?

When you do scrambled eggs, do you just toss whole eggs into the pan, or do you crack them open first and then toss what was inside?
