This is where the UK fishing fleet was yesterday, seems quite a few aren't in British waters and those countries also have gunboats:

If the UK gets back full control of its waters and gets thrown out of EU waters the net additional income to the UK economy is about £80 million. However the cost of defending British waters, and Naval patrol boats are very expensive, is about £80 million.I'm alright JackComment
