But apart from that, what impact has brexit had on most people's lives?

I was referring to cojak's post about individuals encountering problems ordering stuff directly from the EU.

If shortages on supermarket shelves do actually materialize then that is something to be concerned about but at the moment this is just speculation (or even scare mongering).

This hasn't happened, so it's only a hypothetical.

Brexit is being painted as dire, catastrophic, end of the world.

A bit of rational perspective wouldn't go amiss.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

It won't be that bad. There will be some negative financial impact, some inconveniences, some disruptions.

I doubt anything good will come of it but that's a different matter.

Let me put it this way, I'm sure this divorce will not be as bad as any of brillo's.

The negative impacts have been shown on this forum not least the end of freedom of movement for Brits and business leaving in droves. How about you listing the Benefits of Brexit because no-one else has managed to do so.
