The craziest compliance I’ve witnessed is a chap of 55 (with 30 years exp) marched off site for failing to provide his high school results (despite him having a degree and a MBA) high school results were Latin and geography [emoji4]

Just to be clear, he did not provide them at all, or those he did provide were incorrect?

If the former, why this wasn't captured at interview stage seems a mite careless of the recruiters. If the latter, as you infer, who should really give a f---?

Just had a very green Recruitment Consultant on a fishing expedition call me up, I was feeling nice so did not roast her.

She cant tell me who the 'client' is but wants to find out about current rate, current role and needs a reference before she can submit my cv. The new client is silver and gold Microsoft certified and she cant tell me if the role is inside or outside IR35 as she is not a "technical person".

That's my second call this week, God help us all....

I've been put forward for 12 roles since the start of August and only got an interview for one of them (which is tomorrow). Then again, I only need one ;-)

yes had a similar call this week. quickly realised the job he was talking about was non-existent and he was just after any companies ive been put forward to.

usually its the agents telling us about jobs and now the agents are asking us if we have any jobs. what a time...
