Day rate translated into perm salary

If earning £375 p/d any idea what that approximately translates into on a perm salary? I know there's no hard and fast calculation but keen to get an idea

It will depend on how much you spend on expenses and how much bench time you have in the year.

About £45k, except a £375 a day gig probably won't attract that kind of salary in permieworld. It's a pointless question anyway; there are far too many variables

That depends on what the OP does. A BA can get that kind of salary if they're good enough.

Also where the OP is in the country.

One of the many variables. A PM can get a whole £200 a day in West Wales without needing an ICT Visa..

Taking your contract rate as a starting point is a bad idea anyway. You should start with a high market rate salary and negotiate to an acceptable compromise.

Really, i've seen 50k equivalent roles in the Midlands where the contract rate is 300-400 on average.

                  But what does that prove.

Those variables are a right bugger, aren't they...
