"you will be aware HMRC published draft legislation in December 2016 to implement changes to the rules relating to IR35 to take effect from 6th April 2017. These rules will only apply to public sector organisations as listed in the FOI Act 2000 and its 2002 equivalent in Scotland.

This team not only responded directly to the consultation document published by HMRC in May 2016, but has also been consistently close to all the actions taken by HMRC on this, with a direct line to the Lead Officials at HMRC who are responsible for the drafting of the legislation.
We will actively manage the transition for you
Hays is actively working with our public sector customers to ensure they understand the nature of the changes and that contractors working legitimately outside of IR35 can continue to do so. Hays are allowing contractors to still contract through their PSC companies whether you fall in or out of IR35.
