    European Outsourcing

    Hello,

We are an European company looking for nearshore projects and opportunities. While we can describe our previous activity as outsourcing (we had projects in collaboration with bigger companies in automotive, IoT, and with scandinavian startups), we are looking to expand into full consultancy and projects that would enlarge our experience and status.

What advice can you give us?

P.S. Since our fees, ToC and work quality are in a fair raport with those customary in the location of our partners, we hope that any diminishing remarks will be excluded, even if outsourcing is a term that holds a questionable reputation sometimes. Our people are software engineers, some studied at prestigious European colleges, others are perfecting their academic skills, while we also have internship students that complete their college education with us, and learn extra know-how. We are competing and collaborating with our remote peers as anyone would do, and we know and value the standards of our work. In fact, we are evolving out of the outsourcing area with our own R&D projects and a shift of strategy. Any help would be appreciated, so thanks!

    Any advice?

    Employ UK-based independent contractors.

UK is leaving EU in March 2019 I suggest you relocate to Germany or France! The Indian Outsourcers do what you do for a fraction of the cost its quite ironic you are trying to steal UK workers jobs & other non EU companies are stealing your industry from under your nose & nothing you can do about it either.

Utilise is probably more applicable in this context.

Yes, that’s the word I should have used.

                Darn those pesky contractors!

And so on the basis that this isn’t the right forum for the OP to ask his question, thread closed.
