        Why agents never turn round and say there isn't any work to do for the duration of the 'notice period' is beyond me.

        Oddly I would be more annoyed about the Friday. You turned up in good faith so would charge either a half or full day.

          I'm so with you there. It's a no brainer surely. But then, as everything is with agents, it would be open to abuse by the unscrupulous ones all of them.

                  They are trying. I've just slapped them with an LBA for nonpayment of the invoice for the 3 weeks up to the last couple of days. And that is AFTER emailing to confirm they WOULD pay it...
