        IR35 Investigation HMRC double standard!

it appears LoanCharge victims are upset, HRMC turns a blind eye on IR35 avoidance but penalising Loancharge victims!
        ------------
i am surprised the professional Institutes have not approached #HMRC to question the disparity of HMRC as judge & jury offering an amnesty for those who may have ignored #IR35, whilst retrospectively pursuing those who took professional advice on legal tax avoidance strategies
        -------------------------------------
        I wonder what the @CIOTNews
make of this.. I’m not a Tax expert but how can HMRC decide to turn a blind eye to IR35 avoidance and penalise those who used legal solutions backed by barristers and accountants. How is that treating people fairly! #LoanChargeScandal

It's interesting how people attempt to change the narrative to convince themselves they're right or have been hard done by. I assume its some sort of defence mechanism.

HMRC have done neither of those two bits I've emboldened above.

Indeed. People hoping to get Schadenfreude prescribed as a medicine.

Just posted in general what HMRC has pointed out in response to the petition. I makes it in bold for you.
